The Multimedia Artist designs visual images, computer-based, web-based, or multimedia-based layout, graphics, animation, video, sound and/or content for use in presentations, video productions, multimedia programs, Web sites, emails, and other electronic media.

  1. Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  2. Develops concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites adhering to the company's branding guidelines

  3. Illustrates concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  4. Prepares rough drafts of material based on agreed briefs
  5. Reviews final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
  6. Liaises with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality
  7. Works with a wide range of media and uses graphic design software
  8. Creates dynamic digital animations or audio-visual presentations that will be used as an advertising tool or for sales presentation purposes
  9. Keeps abreast with the latest design trends to bring fresh and innovative design ideas
  10. Creates and install special effects
  11. Brainstorms with the team on improvement and execution of innovative content efforts

  12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  13. Requirements

  14. Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, Fine Arts, or Mass Communications

  15. At least 2 years of experience in graphic design in a corporate setting
  16. Excellent design skills and photo-editing software
  17. Exceptional creativity and innovation
  18. Excellent time management and organizational skills
  19. Accuracy and attention to detail
  20. An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
  21. Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
  22. Ability to communicate and present ideas
  23. Good eye for design, layout and detail
