Japanese Instructor

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Japanese Language Instructor to join our team and teach Japanese to a diverse group of students. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native fluency in Japanese, a strong understanding of Japanese culture, and proven experience in language education. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, delivering effective instruction, and assessing student progress across various proficiency levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare comprehensive and engaging lesson plans and instructional materials (including multimedia, handouts, and exercises) based on established curriculum goals and JF Standard or JLPT level 4.
• Teach Japanese language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) to students.
• Incorporate relevant Japanese customs, etiquette, history, and social context into lessons to provide a holistic cultural understanding.
• Administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of performance.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the language.
• Attend meetings, complete administrative duties (such as attendance tracking and reporting), and communicate effectively with management and students.

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing), typically equivalent to JLPT N4.
• Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Japanese to non-native speakers in a formal classroom or online setting.
• Strong knowledge of effective teaching methodologies, second language acquisition principles, and curriculum design.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in both Japanese and English.

Pay: Php13, Php15,000.00 per month
