Work Sched: 8am to 6pm (Mon-Thurs) 8am-5pm (Fri) 

About the Role

A key finance role responsible for managing day-to-day tax operations, ensuring full compliance with Philippine tax laws, and providing expert tax advice to management. This position oversees tax filings, audits, financial compliance, and non-trade transaction reviews, supporting accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

What You'll Do
Taxation

  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and payments.

  • Review tax declarations and payment documents.

  • Execute e-payments (BIR EFPS, Citidirect).

  • Manage tax audits, CWT/VAT refunds, and other tax-related matters.

  • Assist in coordination for year-end audits with external auditors.

Accounts Payable

  • Review all payment requests (trade, non-trade, individual claims, statutory).

  • Prepare approvals for budget adjustments.

Audit

  • Support the Finance Manager during quarterly and year-end audits.

  • Prepare and submit required reports, schedules, and documentation.

  • Record audit adjustments in SAP.

Compliance & Other Responsibilities

  • Manage BSP compliance for intercompany loans (monthly, annual, registration/renewals).

  • Handle SEC compliance for GIS and AFS submissions.

  • Liaise with auditors and internal departments on tax-related concerns.

  • Supervise account reconciliations and ensure adherence to tax and reporting standards.

What You'll Bring
Education

  • BS in Finance or Accounting.

  • CPA is an advantage but not required.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax Management.

  • Experience in accounting or tax firms (Auditor or Tax Consultant) is a plus.

  • Background in international logistics/forwarding is an advantage.

Skills

  • Proven expertise as a Tax Specialist.

  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax processes and statutory regulations.

  • Proficient in SAP and financial software.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and quantitative abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead, guide, and ensure accurate tax applications.

  • Strong ethics and ability to handle confidential data.
