About the Job

An Accounting Intern will assist the Finance and Accounting team in performing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role provides hands-on exposure to accounting practices, financial documentation, and internal processes. This opportunity is designed to help interns gain practical experience and develop their skills in a professional environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports.
  2. Support in processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
  3. Help in reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
  4. Provide assistance during audits and month-end closing activities.
  5. Organize and file financial documents for proper recordkeeping.
  6. Assist in preparing expense reports and monitoring company expenditures.
  7. Coordinate with other departments regarding financial data requirements.
  8. Conduct basic financial analysis and reporting as assigned.
  9. Perform other administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: No prior work experience required.

  • Skills:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
