Marketing Analyst

PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE (OF THIS POSITION):
The Marketing Analyst supports the Marketing Lead in developing and executing commercial marketing strategies that drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability. This role focuses on optimizing campaign mechanics across all channels including the ZUS Mobile App, retail outlets, third-party food aggregators, and e-commerce platforms to enhance user acquisition and retention. The Marketing Analyst leverages data insights, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure cost-efficient performance, scalable growth, and strong returns on marketing and promotional investments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Part 1 –Primary roles of the job which are measurable and may be used as part of KPIs
Strategy, Growth & Performance Management
- Evaluate and optimize the performance of promotional activities and marketing spend, focusing on improving customer acquisition cost (CAC) and campaign ROI.
- Assist in managing budgets across channels and campaigns to drive strong returns on investment and maintain cost efficiency.
- Assist in developing pricing and promotional strategies tailored to each channel's audience and performance indicators.
- Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across proprietary and third-party channels — including app-driven loyalty, delivery, and in-store initiatives.
- Track, report, and analyze performance marketing activities, including ad-hoc analytics requests and the development or automation of recurring reports.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of channel-related projects — from ideation and planning through to post-launch performance evaluation.

Insights & Analytics
- Provide actionable insights on customer behavior and outlet performance per channel to support tactical and strategic decision-making.
- Assess channel-level revenue scalability by identifying gaps and opportunities using app users, transaction, and revenue trend data in relation to macro digital channel environments.
- Stay ahead of global and macro trends in consumer purchasing behavior, digital channel adoption, delivery platforms, and online retail formats to advise on potential marketing strategies.
- Create dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign performance reports to monitor marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Lead and Regional Marketing Manager to monitor funnel conversion, share insights, and present performance results and recommendations.
JOB COMPETENCIES / REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Strategy, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in channel strategy, commercial management, growth marketing, performance marketing or data analytics, roles within retail, F&B, or e-commerce.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with experience in revenue tracking, ROI analysis, and performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of customer acquisition, funnel marketing, cohort analysis, and channel attribution models.
- Proficient in Excel, reporting dashboards, CRM, and business intelligence tools for data-driven decision-making.
- Familiar with digital marketing, third-party aggregators, and emerging retail and tech trends across markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Confident, proactive, and adaptable — able to lead projects and deliver results under pressure.
