Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Connectivity & Monitoring Platform Deployment

  • Set up cellular services for newly commissioned sites.
  • Configure monitoring systems, conduct performance checks, and analyze results using provided tools and applications.
  • Ensure uptime and reliability of DG O&M network infrastructure.
  • Manage server, network, and software operations; proactively resolve recurring or major faults.

2. Remote Monitoring & Technical Support

  • Perform daily system monitoring during performance validation; escalate issues to field teams.
  • Investigate alerts from automated tools and manually assess systems and sensors.
  • Provide diagnostic support for SCADA-based systems and track system events.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and assist field technicians remotely.
  • Evaluate system alarms and take corrective actions based on established procedures.

3. Commissioning Support

  • Assist PM and O&M teams during site commissioning.
  • Oversee performance testing and analyze field results (e.g., voltage/current, I-V curves, energy meter verification).
  • Validate alignment with contractual specs, technical drawings, and performance models.
  • Resolve functional and performance issues in coordination with PMs and O&M Engineers.
  • Support site handover for O&M contract initiation.

4. Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Management

  • Monitor and control BESS operations using SCADA and other tools.
  • Ensure asset safety and optimize performance.
  • Analyze BESS data for continuous improvement.

5. Documentation & Database Management

  • Maintain technical documentation, databases, and owner's manuals.
  • Ensure data integrity across internal reporting systems.
  • Build and manage commissioning and as-built trackers.
  • Perform data recovery across platforms.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Transversal O&M Engineering and regional business teams (PMs and O&Ms).
  • Provide support across the Asset Operations Services Team as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Computer/Telecommunications); 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Experience in the energy sector, particularly in instrumentation, power generation, data acquisition, and performance analysis
  • Understanding of photovoltaic (PV) technology, solar power systems, power generation, and data acquisition processes.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication protocols and principles and Internet Protocol (IP) configurations.
  • Proficient in the use of standard office productivity software for documentation, reporting, and communication.
  • Exposure to performance monitoring platforms and data visualization applications.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytical tools and platforms is considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SQL and foundational knowledge of Python programming is a plus.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and observe regional business hours and Philippine holidays as required by operational needs.
  • Willing to work in Alabang in a hybrid work set-up
