JOB OBJECTIVE/S:

Reporting directly to the Data Assurance Supervisor-Inventory, the Data Assurance Specialist is responsible for accurate store inventory count, ensuring accuracy of system inventory balances of assigned accounts. Prepare and analyze variance reports and recommend resolution for the variances.

Data Assurance Specialist is also responsible for ensuring that all transactions are timely posted in the system

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct accurate inventory count in all stores on a monthly or quarterly basis depending on account requirement.
  • Prepares inventory and sales report based on count.
  • Post sales issuances in the system, based on DSR or derived sales depending on account requirement
  • Monitors all inventory transactions of the assigned account; ensures that transactions are timely posted in the system by the responsible department.
  • Prepares sales variance report - DSR vs declared sales, derived sales vs declared sales; investigate, analyze cause of variance and recommend resolution.
  • Prepares inventory variance report - actual count vs system inventory; investigate and analyze cause of variances;
  • Recommend adjustment on store inventory based on checked and validated physical count result to ensure accuracy of inventory balances in the system.
  • Reconciliation of closed accounts' system inventory
  • Special Project - clean up if inventory for the assigned accounts
  • Provide ad-hoc inventory reports as needed
  • Prepare monthly inventory schedule and coordinate with Operations regarding permit
  • Validator in Warehouse annual count

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College Graduate
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Knowledgeable in SAP
  • Exhibits ability to interpret and explain sales and inventory reports
  • Exhibits ability to think creatively in order to devise best inventory control practices.
