Job Summary

The Online Casino Risk and Fraud Analyst is responsible for detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities while ensuring a secure and compliant gaming environment. This role focuses on monitoring player behavior, payment transactions, bonus abuse, and risk patterns to minimize financial losses and regulatory exposure while maintaining a positive player experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor player accounts, gameplay behavior, and transactions to identify potential fraud, collusion, bonus abuse, and money laundering risks
  • Conduct in-depth investigations on suspicious accounts, payment activity, chargebacks, and irregular betting patterns
  • Perform manual and automated risk reviews on deposits, withdrawals, and account verification (KYC)
  • Analyze fraud trends and emerging risks across payment methods, regions, and player segments
  • Apply risk rules, thresholds, and internal controls in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Handle payment disputes and chargebacks, including evidence gathering and coordination with PSPs
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Payments, Compliance, and Operations teams to resolve risk-related cases efficiently
  • Escalate high-risk cases and provide clear documentation, reports, and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate case records and audit-ready documentation
  • Support continuous improvement of fraud prevention processes, tools, and risk strategies

Requirements
  • 1–3+ years of experience in fraud, risk, or payments within online casino, iGaming, fintech, or e-commerce environments
  • Strong understanding of online gambling fraud types (bonus abuse, multi-accounting, collusion, payment fraud)
  • Experience with KYC, AML, and responsible gaming controls
  • Familiarity with payment methods, chargebacks, and PSP dispute processes
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify patterns or anomalies
  • High attention to detail with strong investigative and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with shifting priorities and high-volume case queues
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or holidays if required
