Designs civil, road and drainage projects using 12D and AutoCAD.

What You'll Do

You'll be the kind of person who:

Design

  • Produces compliant engineering drawings for civil, road and drainage works to guidelines, standards and codes.
  • Reviews site inspection reports, measurement data and specifications; applies required design adjustments.
  • Contributes to the development, maintenance and improvement of job management processes and systems within the company.
  • Undertakes to research and include innovation in design solutions where appropriate.

Administration

  • Sources and verifies electronic data supplied by others.
  • Maintains project records, drawings and maps per company filing standards.
  • Supports refinement of job management systems.
  • Handles additional assigned tasks.

Contract Management

  • Prepares tender and contract documents.
  • Incorporates field-reported data into contract deliverables.
  • Supports contract management system improvements.

External Relationships

  • Represents the Company with honesty and integrity.
  • Responds promptly to client requests.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to MANAGER ROADS AND INFRASTRUCTURE.

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven engineering design capability in civil, road and drainage works.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, and basic knowledge or experience with 12D.
  • Australian experience highly desired.
