In order to create exquisite desserts and confections, create seasonal menus, and create new recipes for our kitchen's pastry department, we are seeking a creative pastry chef. You should have an overwhelming passion for baking and be motivated to create masterpieces that surpass our customer's expectations.

You must have extensive knowledge of the culinary arts and uphold high standards of sanitation and hygiene in order to succeed in this position.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 or more years' experience working within the food industry as a Pastry Chef and Baker.
  • Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, and baking.
  • Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
  • Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
  • Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
  • Developing new recipes for seasonal menus.
  • Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
  • Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients.
  • Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section.
  • Ensuring their section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php17,000.00 per month
