Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on construction sites.
  • Supervise and monitor site workers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure that construction is carried out according to the design, specifications, and safety standards.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate with project managers and employees to ensure the timely completion of the project.
  • Monitor project progress and identify any delays or issues, proposing solutions.
  • Maintain and update daily progress reports, logs, and other project documentation.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that all construction activities are performed according to the approved designs and technical specifications.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of materials used, and work completed meets industry standards.
  • Identify and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies during construction.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, clients, and contractors to discuss project status, concerns, and updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of all site activities and report to senior management regularly.

Problem Solving:

  • Address any on-site issues or conflicts, collaborating with other team members to resolve them quickly.
  • Proactively identify risks, potential delays, and provide solutions to prevent or mitigate them.

Qualifications

  1. Preferably Licensed Civil Engineer or Architect, non-licensed is also encouraged to apply.
  2. At least 5-10 years experience in Civil construction projects (Infrastructure buildings, Waterworks, Roads, and/or Fences) are an advantage.
  3. Able to prepare cost estimates and schedules.
  4. Able to prepare basic CAD drawings, sketches, shop drawings and as-built plans.
  5. Willing to be assigned to project sites and capable of site supervision.
  6. Driving skills and a valid LTO driver's license are an advantage.
