Description
WTW
At WTW, we help the world's biggest organizations make forward-thinking choices about their people, their investments and the risks they face.
Our expertise and advice make them stronger and more successful. We also support them to improve their people's health, skills and financial wellbeing. You'll be part of this impact, right from the start.
What does the Central team do?
The Central Team partners with global and local leaders and teams to ensure that Global Service Delivery-wide plans are translated at the Manila Global Delivery Center level. They implement initiatives or facilitate processes that enable strategy execution to be accomplished in an integrated manner across the Manila GDC and ensure alignment with their counterparts in other locations.
The Central Team is composed of Administrative Services, Communications, Continuous Improvement, Excellence, Data Protection, Risk & Compliance, Strategy and Solutions, and Transitions teams.
The opportunities and support available
Our Intern Programme is designed for penultimate-year and final-year university students. It is currently expected that the duration of the internship will be six months.
We operate a hybrid working environment (i.e. a mixture of working in the office and at home). In order to get the most out of the Intern Programme at WTW, you will be expected to come into the office at least one day each week. In addition to the scheduled in-office training and meetings about projects and client work, this will give you the opportunity to learn from your more experienced colleagues, as well as getting to know your fellow interns.
An internship at WTW will give you valuable real-world experience. It will enable you to apply your education in an environment that is both intellectually challenging and rewarding. At the end of your time with us, you will have a greater understanding of what we do and how closely our career offerings match your career ambitions.
As a Central Team Administrative Services intern, you will enhance your core skills and expand your knowledge in office management and coordination, as well as project management, through hands-on experience in office coordination with different WTW teams, calendar management, and logistics support. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to local and global leaders.
- Coordinate logistics and address concerns for training sessions, meetings, town halls, and events, as needed.
- Produce documentation and deliverables relevant to various project stakeholders.
- Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on different projects and regular deliverables, as instructed.
- Support the admin services team in engagement activities and facilitate communication support.
- Handle finance-related requests for the Admin Team, including the preparation of ICS.
- Accredit vendors as needed.
As an intern on the Central team, you'll need strong communication skills, the ability to plan work effectively, attention to detail, and be a great team collaborator.
Our community
Regardless of which of our offices you join, you'll be part of the bigger WTW community, and will be able to contribute to our fundraising and community activities, our inclusion and diversity networks as well as our sporting and social groups. We are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment, enriched by our people, our clients, and the communities in which we work and live.
Learning and Development
We provide continuous professional development to all our colleagues. For interns specifically, we provide:
- An induction process where you can learn what our business does, what resources are available, and who the other new interns are.
- On-the-job experiences allowing you to see the immediate impact of your work.
- Opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects with experienced professionals.
