Job description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, maintenance, and safe operation of electrical systems within building projects, ensuring compliance with standards and supporting efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

System Design & Implementation

  • Oversee the design, installation, and integration of power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Ensure electrical systems comply with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.

Maintenance & Repair

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues to prevent downtime and ensure operational continuity.

Safety Compliance

  • Enforce electrical safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry codes, safety rules, and best practices.

Energy Management

  • Monitor and analyze energy usage.
  • Implement cost-saving and efficiency-improving strategies for electrical systems.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Maintain and test backup power systems and emergency equipment.
  • Develop and update related emergency response procedures.

Project Management

  • Lead and manage electrical components of building projects.
  • Oversee budgets, timelines, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in building construction (required).
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (preferred).
  • Strong background in electrical system design, maintenance, and project coordination.
  • Solid knowledge of local electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
