Navagis software solutions are built using Google Maps and Google Cloud technologies and open systems to integrate various information sources into a map-driven common operating picture for the entire enterprise.

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Developerto join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our company's primary website, working on both the front-end (user-facing) and back-end (server-side) development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop interactive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, , etc.)
  • Work with the marketing team and other developers to build and maintain dynamic landing pages with targeted content.
  • Implement and maintain custom functionalities for multilingual websites including dynamic content localization.
  • Optimize videos, large images and other dynamic content for fast loading times.
  • Integrate best practices for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Manage website backups, version control, and staging environments using Github.
  • Work independently and creatively with minimal reliance on wireframes or pre-existing assets and plugins.
  • Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure a cohesive user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest web development trends and technologies.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • At least three years of experience with both front-end and back-end web development including strong familiarity with WordPress.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently and solve problems creatively.
  • Experience with software engineering methodologies, best practices and modern developer tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with a JavaScript framework (React, , etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with UI/UX concepts, website animations, and a good eye for strong web design, is a plus.
  • Bonus points for experience with server-side scripting languages (Python, PHP, etc.)
  • Willing to work night shifts.
  • Open to independent contractor role with flexible shift durations (4, 6, or 8 hours), based on mutual agreement.
