Job Title: First AiderJob Summary:

The First Aider is responsible for providing immediate medical assistance and emergency care to employees or site personnel in case of accidents, injuries, or sudden illnesses. The role ensures the health, safety, and well-being of all workers by maintaining proper first aid facilities, supplies, and records, and by assisting in the implementation of health and safety programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer first aid treatment to injured or ill employees promptly and properly.
  • Assess the severity of injuries and determine if further medical assistance or hospitalization is required.
  • Maintain and regularly inspect first aid kits, supplies, and equipment to ensure availability and compliance with safety standards.
  • Record all incidents, treatments, and medical interventions in the First Aid logbook.
  • Support safety officers in conducting health and safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and emergency response drills.
  • Monitor and promote general health and hygiene practices in the workplace.
  • Coordinate with nearby clinics, hospitals, and emergency services when necessary.
  • Report any major injuries or health hazards to the Safety Officer or Project Manager immediately.
  • Assist in implementing company occupational health and safety policies.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling medical cases.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized training provider (e.g., Red Cross, DOLE-accredited).
  • Preferably with background in nursing, healthcare, or occupational safety.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures and workplace safety standards.
  • Good communication, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
  • Physically fit and calm under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
