KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning and Analysis:

o Develop and manage the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.

o Analyze financial performance against budget, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

o Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

o Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making

Controllership:

o Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

o Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and systems.

o Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

o Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Financial Reporting:

o Prepare and file all required financial reports, including those for regulatory agencies (e.g., Securities and Exchange Commission - SEC, Bureau of Internal Revenue - BIR).

o Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and other applicable accounting standards.

o Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

Tax Compliance:

o Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including income tax, value- added tax (VAT), and other local taxes.

o Ensure compliance with all Philippine tax laws and regulations.

o Manage tax audits and resolve tax-related issues.

Team Leadership and Management:

o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting and finance professionals.

o Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.

o Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

o Evaluate and implement new technologies to automate financial functions.

Treasury Management:

o Manage the company's cash flow and working capital.

o Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field.

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.

· Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance

· Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance,

with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

· Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax laws, and regulations.

· Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

· Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
