Tax Manager

Job Summary:

The Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities of the company, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations. This role will lead tax planning, reporting, and audit activities, and provide strategic advice on tax-efficient business decisions within the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review the company's overall tax compliance, including income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Coordinate and manage BIR audits and other regulatory examinations.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on company operations.
  • Provide tax advisory support on real estate transactions, acquisitions, and developments.
  • Supervise and mentor the tax team, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation laws and BIR processes.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php75, Php85,000.00 per month
