  4. Fulfill the service duties for the customers by handling all service calls while on duty and handling customer transactions in a timely and courteous manner.
  5. Responding to customer complaints/concerns with a sense of urgency to see to their resolution.
  6. Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and assure that equipment is available as required.

  7. Teach the end-users the appropriate supplies and reagents to be used, equipping them the fundamental concepts critical to any analytic procedures and for routine cleaning requirement and minor troubleshooting of the machines.

  8. Assure the Service practices are in good order and in accordance with safety requirements.

  9. Manages the repair and maintenance of company owned and customer equipment.

  10. Provides technical expertise on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.
  11. Identify comparison as well as differentiating the technical features of each product and demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of one product to another in the perspective of the client.
  12. Properly set-up or install all equipment's as well as check the functionality of the laboratory equipment's according to manufacturer/supplier's specifications.
  13. Evaluates all equipment after repairs, maintenance or safety checks.
  14. Identify errors that cause the inappropriateness after the repair of the machines then apply the corrective measures needed.  Problem analysis includes both hardware and software errors.
  15. Documents equipment status before and after sales.
  16. Inspects equipment and conduct preventive maintenance and set the specific test parameters or programs on each equipment.
  17. Supervise in testing, tuning, and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum operating performance.
  18. Repair and monitor all pulled-out equipment's.

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a reputable University or School with good scholastic and moral records.  Preferably a licensed ECE.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical environment as a Service Engineer.
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
  • Good applied numerical/reporting skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Calm under pressure
