OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:

The primary purpose of this role is the provision of finance and administration services to the national Premier Fresh Australia Business, with a core focus on the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years previous experience in a similar role/industry preferred

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Team player with a proactive approach to communication and raising of issues

  • Flexible and willing to get involved wherever necessary to ensure the group goals and objectives are met

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Accounts Payable

  1. Inputting of creditor invoices into Concur & Ironbark in an accurate and timely manner

  2. Ensuring appropriate approvals are received before passing invoices for payment

  3. Reconciliation of supplier statements and following up on queries

  4. Preparing payments to suppliers ensuring accounts are kept within terms

Freight Accounting

  1. Ensure freight invoices are accurately recorded at a consignment level where possible.

  2. Ensure inbound freight is recovered from growers where applicable.

Accounts Receivable

  1. Accurate receipting of payments received from commercial and export customers

  2. Assisting is debtor query and claims resolution to ensure prompt payment

Other

  1. Pricing of intercompany Lancaster Farm sales invoices

General

  1. Accepts direction from managers and works effectively within a team environment, is supportive of other team members, and actively contributing to team meetings and discussions.

  2. Complies with the policies and procedures of the company and acts within authority levels.

  3. Demonstrates and uses advanced interpersonal, communication skills including business level literacy and numeracy skills.

  4. Any other tasks incidental to or in connection with any of the above.
