Third-Party Vendor Relationship Manager
to lead, manage, and optimize these critical external partnerships.

This role is essential in securing cost-effective contracts, ensuring performance excellence, and maintaining strong vendor compliance with Axelum's operational standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic negotiator with strong supply chain expertise and the ability to build high-performing vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Price Negotiations:
    Lead contract and rate negotiations with shipping lines, logistics companies, and other third-party service providers.
  • Warehouse Sourcing:
    Secure cost-effective and reliable third-party warehouses that meet capacity, quality, and service requirements.
  • Contract Manufacturer Management:
    Supervise vendor agreements with contract manufacturers, ensuring adherence to Axelum's processes, SLAs, and quality standards.
  • Vendor Onboarding & Due Diligence:
    Coordinate onboarding, risk assessments, compliance reviews, and alignment with internal policies.
  • Performance Management:
    Develop KPIs, conduct regular evaluations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with all external partners.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight:
    Ensure vendors meet regulatory requirements, safety protocols, ethical standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Relationship Building:
    Maintain strong partnerships through regular communication, business reviews, and alignment on operational goals.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Address service gaps, delays, or non-compliance, implementing corrective actions with relevant vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, logistics, vendor management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills.
  • Experience managing 3PLs, shipping lines, warehouses, or contract manufacturers is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment.
