Overview

We're looking for a
Telecom OSP Operations Manager
to lead and optimize all Outside Plant (OSP) activities. This role focuses on
KPI-driven management
, ensuring high-quality, on-time project delivery while holding vendors and contractors accountable across aerial, buried, and underground networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Management
    – Define and track KPIs (uptime, restoration, delivery timelines, quality, budget, safety). Create dashboards/scorecards to monitor results and drive accountability.
  • Operational Oversight
    – Oversee OSP construction, maintenance, and repairs through data and reporting, not direct field work. Ensure accurate scheduling, forecasting, and quality checks.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
    – Manage contractor performance against SLAs. Work with engineering, GIS/CAD teams, and local authorities to secure permits and ensure compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement
    – Standardize reporting, benchmark against industry best practices, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • At least
    5 years in OSP operations, telecom infrastructure, or network project management
    , with strong KPI and contractor management background.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and KPI/dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of OSP environments (aerial, buried, underground).
