Dimsum Cook

Job Summary:

The Dimsum Production Cook is responsible for preparing and producing all dimsum items, such as siomai, siopao, hakaw, dumplings, xiao long bao, and other dimsum products, according to company recipes and standards. He ensures that every product meets Suzhou's required quality, consistency, and quantity while maintaining proper hygiene and efficiency in the production area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce all dimsum items daily based on set recipes, portion sizes, and production targets.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and size of all dimsum products.
• Maintain accurate yield and minimize wastage of ingredients.
• Check the quality of raw materials before and during production.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Properly label and store finished products for delivery or use.
• Report any discrepancies, spoilage, or issues with ingredients or equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet daily or weekly production quotas.
• Assist in testing and developing new dimsum recipes or improvements when needed.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and compliant with commissary standards.

Qualifications:

• At least 1–2 years experience in dimsum or Chinese food preparation (siomai, hakaw, dumplings, xiao long bao, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
• Ability to meet production targets and work under time pressure.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and hygiene practices.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Work Schedule:

Full-time; may require early morning or flexible shifts based on production needs.

Compensation Range:

₱20,000 – ₱25,000/month (depending on skill and experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
