1. Manage the operational and fiscal activities of all stores to include: staffing levels, sales quota, merchandising, house-keeping & financial goals.
2. Preside overall staff meetings. Help all retail store sales staff achieve sales targets. Trains all sales personnel to be warm and friendly as these could make new customers come back to the store for more shopping.
3. Grooms all Store Managers and Sales personnel and ensures that they are well equipped on sales techniques and strategies, and are able to achieve sales target.
4. Provide the Store Managers new strategies for their Sales Promoters on how to increase sales, attend to customers and close deals. Ensures that all stores are operated in a cordial and organized manner.
5. Analyze and document business processes and opportunities. Develop positive solutions to enhance efficiencies. Create opportunities from problems.
6. Supervise all staff/s in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operations problems. Become a mentor/partner to those who are your Associates.
7. Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations…but above all employee moral and attitude.
8. Determine price schedules and discount rates. Maintaining a high standard of merchandising and rotating the 'challenged merchandise' to make room for your newest arrivals and keep the flow of merchandise constant and fresh.
9. Formulate pricing policies for merchandise, according to profitability requirements.
10. Review operational records such as inventory and sales reports to project sales and determine profitability and to prepare reports for all departments in need..
11.Performs other related duties in a may be assigned by immediate superior in a positive manner to show as a shining example to all Associates that we ALL must do our part for the company.
Qualifications:
- Male/Female
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
- With minimum of 5 years work experience in the related field is required for this position
- Managerial experience in a retail business is an advantage
- Excellent in Organizational, Financial and Marketing aspects of store operations
- Management & motivation of direct reports, recruit, train and develop staff according to company policies & ensure relevant HR procedures as followed
- Responsible in reviewing sales objectives, projections and profitability targets of outlets as well as career development of outlets management team under his area of responsibility
- With effective people management and strong leadership skills
- Highly flexible and result oriented
- Excellent in both oral and written communication skills
- Must be computer literate and can work with minimal supervision
- Willing to travel to stores to be handled
