About the role

As the Assistant Head Chef at the WEDDING RESOURCES AND EVENTS MANAGEMENT CORPORATION', you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional culinary experiences for our clients' special events. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position based in Baliuag Bulacan.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen management
  2. Overseeing the execution of menu items, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery
  3. Coordinating with the wider catering team to ensure seamless event operations
  4. Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  5. Mentoring and training junior chefs and kitchen staff
  6. Assisting in inventory management and cost control
  7. Collaborating with event planners and clients to understand their culinary preferences and deliver exceptional dining experiences

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a chef or in a similar role, preferably in the Hospitality & Tourism industry
  2. Strong working knowledge of Chefs/Cooks principles and techniques
  3. Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  4. Passion for creating innovative, visually appealing, and delicious culinary offerings
  5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and the wider events team
  7. Commitment to maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
