The Lead Mechanical Design Engineer leads the mechanical team in timely submission of quality design plans with its specifications and budgetary cost estimates according to company standards, value engineering and within the stipulated budget. To be in-charge of searching for new products, methodology and services to mechanical design advantage.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PLAN PREPARATION AND DESIGN COORDINATION

  • In-charge in preparation of detailed mechanical and auxiliary plans, specifications, budgetary estimates and documents for permit application, bidding and construction, such as: Open Space Amenities/ Marketing Office, MRB/HRB Buildings and other projects that requires HVAC and Fire Protection. Coordinates with consultants and checking of their submitted documents.

  • It includes submitting of material and initial cost estimates, computations, material specifications and other documents needed to complete necessary requirements.

  • Plan review from Schematic, Design Development, Conceptual, Bidding and Construction stage in accordance to the set Design Parameters and Code compliance.

  • Prepare CAD Works of Mechanical, Fire Protection, LPG and Plumbing/sanitary layout

VALUE ENGINEERING

  • Conducts value engineering, studies, Mechanical, Fire Protection design estimates & cost comparisons.

POST PLANNING ACTIVITIES

  • Reply to - RFI (request for information) & RFA (request for approval), site queries, job orders, OTC and provide report/ recommendations/solutions.

ALLIED COMPANIES SERVICES

  • In-charge of coordination, design criteria, parameters and preparation of plans, estimates and other documents needed and requested by FLI Affiliated companies.

ADMINISTRATIVE WORKS

  • Attendance to departmental meeting and activities

  • Submission of documents involving administrative support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineering

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer is a must

  • With at least 3-5 years experienced in mechanical design and estimation works

  • Experienced and Knowledgeable in the large building operations such as Hotels, Commercial and HRB

  • Work location: Alabang
