Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Tracking: Recording the details of all incoming and outgoing items, including their quantity and movement.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of inventory levels using computer systems and other technologies.
  • Physical Counts & Audits: Performing regular physical counts of products to compare with system records, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Ensuring stock is stored properly, organizing storage areas, and restocking shelves when needed.
  • Reporting: Preparing reports on stock levels, shortages, and other relevant information for management.
  • Coordination: Working with other departments, such as purchasing and receiving, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
  • Loss Prevention: Implementing and assisting with loss prevention programs to minimize shrinkage.
