JOB SUMMARY:

The sales associate is responsible for engaging with customers to be able to close a sale or give assistance to what the customers need. He should have the target and sales as his top priority, executing the expected high level of TOP customer service. He shall also make certain that items on the sales floor are in order and well-kept and displayed according to standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT & FOCUS

  1. Provides excellent customer experience by being knowledgeable about the products sold in the stores – features, benefits, fit, use and trivia about the merchandise

  2. Promotes and practice excellent customer service with sincerity and efficiency

  3. Performs shoe cleaning (Capital store assigned athletes) as an extra service to customers who purchase from Capital and Forum stores

II. STORE OPERATIONS

  1. Makes certain that all items on display have security tags, size beads and are crease-free

  2. Steams apparels that are to be displayed in the selling area

  3. Organizes and ensures completeness of the items in the assigned zone and other zones as necessary by way of automatic refills

  4. Performs daily housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of the store

  5. Consistently adheres to the endorsement procedure with co-athletes when going on breaks or when there is a need to be out of the sales floor

III. GENERAL

  1. Constantly strives to be at the number one spot in salesman productivity ranking in the store and among all athletes in the others stores

  2. Takes part in rallying the team towards the achievement of goals set

  3. Assists new athletes in learning selling techniques, product knowledge, service standards and culture

  4. Adheres to the standards set by the company on work attitude and ethics, proper uniform, performance, including the TOP Vision, Mission and Values

  5. Maintains the confidentiality of all matters pertinent to TOP

  6. Performs other tasks that may be deemed necessary

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (skills, knowledge, etc.):

  2. Fast learner

  3. Passionate about selling and engaging with customers

  4. Personable and confident

  5. Flexible

  6. Attentive to details

  7. Recognizes the effort or contribution of other team members

  8. Team player

  9. Being athletic is an advantage but not required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Training:

  1. Should have completed at least 2nd year college

  2. Customer service training/experience is an advantage but not required

Work Experience:

  1. With at least six (6) months to one (1) year experience preferred but not required

  2. Fresh graduates are considered

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php570.00 per day
