About the role

Microtop Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility in Laguna Technopark, Binan City Laguna. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our state-of-the-art production machinery.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial machines and equipment
  2. Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in a timely manner
  3. Conducting regular inspections and monitoring the performance of machines to identify and address potential problems
  4. Implementing best practices for machine lubrication, calibration, and alignment
  5. Documenting maintenance activities and creating detailed reports
  6. Collaborating with the production team to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
  7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing operations

What we're looking for

  1. Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field
  2. At least 1-2 years of experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
  4. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for machine maintenance and repair
  5. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the optimal performance of production equipment
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
