I.Job Summary
Technical Service Supervisor is mainly a technical role supporting the Sales and Marketing by leading the team of Technical Sales in product selection, managing technical documentation and delivering expert technical services to projects, end users, dealers and distributors local and International.
II. Roles and Responsibilities
The Technical Service Supervisor will be responsible for technical and on-field support of the following PPro Categories carried out by technical sales engineer and marketing team local and overseas:
PPro: Elasto, Adhesives, Sealants, and Concrete Repair Categories
PPro : Waterproofing, Tile Adhesive, Renders, Flooring and Special Formulations EIFS / SIPS Categories
He/She will also coordinate and work with both TSE and CTRs local and overseas in terms of promoting categories under him/her and will help monitor their activities to maximize their effectiveness in helping create demand for Pioneer Pro products.
Reports directly and administratively to Technical Service Manager, and functionally to Elasto and PPro GPM on key milestones and critical technical and specification initiatives.
Work with customer, sales and marketing personnel to develop and replicate high impact applications for PPro Categories being handled.
Provide theoretical and hands-on product training to both internal and external customers
Identify the best Pioneer Pro solution/product for an application by thoroughly understanding the customer need, testing and analyzing results. Communicate results to customers through written reports and presentations.
Provide launch support for new product programs by generating supporting documentation, demonstration tools, videos and training materials.
Define and communicate product performance and application methodologies to customer specifications through collaboration with sales team in building project library and references.
Build a deep understanding of customer needs and competition in assigned product categories and provide end user or customer insights, new product ideas and competitive analysis.
Works with GPM, PM, APM, NPD Manager to help develop new product launch plans that realize projected market opportunity.
III. Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Graduate of Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Material Science or related course.
· Minimum of 3-5 years technical support or technical sales experience in abovementioned PPro categories
· Has B2B specification experience
· Has demonstrated technical aptitude and data analysis
· Cross functional effectiveness
IV. Preferred Skills
· Excellent communication skills and can communicate in written and spoken English
· Presentation and interpersonal skills
· Technical writing skills
· Customer-facing skills
· Has influencing and negotiation skills
· Competent in using MS Office
