Job Purpose:

  • primarily responsible in handling and facilitating all the EWBC referred account transactions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

A. Efficient and Effective Leadership

  1. Accountable in coaching, developing, and mentoring new team members to guarantee proper execution of bank policies and procedures.
  2. Ensures that Deposit Referral Department operations and activity runs smoothly and efficiently.
  3. Ensures proper staffing of the department, performs initial disciplinary action to minor violations of direct reports, or initiates timely elevation of people-related incident report to the Team Leader when necessary for proper handling of disciplinary procedure
  4. Responsible in instilling the following values/culture of the team promoted by the bank:

    a. Good record of attendance of each team member

    b. Well-disciplined team members

    c. Good behaviors

    d. Skills development

    e. Healthy, efficient, and effective work environment
  5. Responsible for ensuring that premises and all facilities & equipment under his/her supervision are being maintained & properly always protected.
  6. Timely conduct and submission to appropriate units of performance evaluation of all team members.

B. Effective EWB Referred Deposit Transaction Management

  1. Ensures conscientious implementation and compliance of bank's policies and procedures.
  2. Ensures accurate, complete, and timely submission of reports to Deposit Referral Operations Team Leader.
  3. Responsible is sending and receiving maturities for the day to various EWB Stores.
  4. Handles all withdrawal and new placement transactions of the day.
  5. Performs roll over process of all maturing accounts of the day.
  6. Posting of daily transactions such as payout and placements and ensure that there are no pending or unprocessed transactions
  7. Monitors all document deficiencies sent by EWB Store upon placements and withdrawals with necessary approval.

C. Efficient Documentation Management

  1. Ensures the completeness of the Account Opening and Account Termination Forms.
  2. Ensures that the Summary/List of Accounts with document deficiency are updated.
  3. Ensures complete and updated documentation of all PEP and High-Risk accounts.

D. Other Assignments

  1. Perform other functions and task that may be assigned by the immediate head.

Job Qualifications and Competencies Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of at least 4-year course preferably business-related courses.
  • Experience: At least two (2) years exposure and experience in cash and accounting operations.

Technical Competencies ("know-how")

  • Strong knowledge in store operations policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge in cash and accounting operations

  • Microsoft Excel Efficient
  • Can work under pressure and minimal supervision
