PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We're seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Accounting Specialist to manage the end-to-end Revenue Accounting process. In this role, you will ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting through timely execution of sales cut-off, returns, trade promotions, and rebates. You will play a critical part in safeguarding internal controls, supporting audits, and driving continuous process improvements, while collaborating with global teams to maintain consistency and alignment with worldwide accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute accounting and daily operations for Revenue Accounting processes.
• Ensure timely financial period close in line with the closing calendar, SLA commitments, and compliance requirements (SOX, Internal Audit, Worldwide Policies).
• Guarantee completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported actuals.
• Perform regular Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
• Provide on-the-job training for new team members and BPO partners.
• Support auditors and legal authorities with required documentation and activities.
• Identify compliance risks, recommend solutions, and ensure strong internal controls.
• Collaborate with SMEs and Operational Key Contacts for cross-region/process alignment and maintain consistent global documentation.
• Drive and implement process improvements, fostering a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Commercial and Revenue Accounting processes.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, Internal Audit requirements, and worldwide accounting procedures.
• Experience in financial period closing and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and drive process improvements.
