Position Title: Website Developer & Ecommerce Coordinator

Job Summary

This role is central to ensuring BDO Furniture's online presence is accurate, up to date, and optimized for customer experience and sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our website and eCommerce platforms by keeping product information, pricing, stock levels, and images updated, and ensuring customer communications are clear and timely. You will also oversee our email marketing lists, eBay store, and help lift engagement across multiple sales channels. Your work will directly impact the customer journey, retention, and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier cost prices are updated as they come through, and reflect accurately on the website's backend and frontend
• Maintain and update product listings across all supplier items: images, specifications, dimensions, colours, and product details
• Conduct daily and weekly stock checks with suppliers (especially Dropshipzone) and update website availability, back-in-stock dates, and pre-order notices accordingly
• Report weekly on best-selling products, most-viewed items, internal site search trends, and user behaviour insights
• Identify what customers are searching for but not finding – report findings and recommend products or UX changes
• Maintain and optimize eBay listings – overhaul existing listings for clarity and conversions
• Use local channels such as Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree to list second-hand and clearance items regularly
• Work with Klayvio to send EDMs, run A/B split tests on sign-up forms and ensure marketing automation is effective
• Build and maintain strong, segmented marketing lists (e.g., schools, home office buyers, large corporate customers)
• Upload and manage product videos to YouTube
• Assist in graphic design of packaging, product boxes, and instruction manuals
• Support the wider team with marketing collateral and product updates as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience with WordPress (Elementor proficiency essential)
• Experience managing eCommerce product listings and backend stock data
• Familiarity with platforms like eBay, Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace
• Graphic design and video uploading/editing skills desirable
• Previous experience using Klayvio or similar email marketing software preferred

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

This role requires you to achieve a range of KPI's which include:

• 100% accuracy of product listings (pricing, specifications, stock, images, variants)
• 100% correct supplier pricing – backend and frontend
• Segmented Klaviyo lists created and maintained (Schools, Home Offices, Businesses)
• eBay listings overhauled and optimized for engagement and sales
• Monthly report on website traffic, most popular products, clicks, and internal search trends
• Regular insights on what users are searching for but not finding
• Improved sign-up form conversion via A/B testing (target: +20% increase)
• Weekly Klaviyo campaign sent to segmented lists with performance tracked (open/click/conversion)
• Gumtree/Facebook Marketplace listings active for all clearance and secondhand stock

Reporting

You will need to provide the Director with a weekly summary every Friday before 3pm outlining:

• What was worked on this week
• Key achievements or wins
• Any issues or items requiring input
• What's planned for the following week
• Any learnings or insights from your work

This role will have performance evaluations and monthly deliverables

Candidates must have the following to apply:

• Excellent written and oral English. Must be able to speak and understand English fluently.
• Because this role is fully remote (work from home) you need to have a suitable home study or location with workstation desk & chair.
• Have and use your own suitable business computer (reasonably new) for this role.
• Be located in a city or location with strong, reliable & stable internet service.
• Have a good, stable and reliable internet connection and service provider.
• Have a web-cam and join MS Teams and be on video link to Head Office during work shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
