About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our growing team at Wildflour Bakery + Cafe Inc' in Metro Manila. As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing and managing day-to-day store operations. This is a full-time role, and you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of our store, driving sales growth, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the Store Manager in managing store operations, including inventory management, staffing, and budgeting
  2. Ensure the store is well-stocked, merchandised, and maintained to our high standards
  3. Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer queries or concerns
  4. Assist in the training and development of store staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
  5. Contribute to the implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives to drive sales
  6. Analyse store performance data and provide recommendations for improvement
  7. Deputize for the Store Manager in their absence, taking on additional responsibilities as required

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a retail or hospitality management role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  3. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
  4. Proficient in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both staff and customers
  6. A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  7. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
