About the role

As a Sr. Software Engineer (NextJS/NuxtJS) at YONDU INC.', you will play a key role in the development and delivery of cutting-edge web applications using the latest front-end technologies. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex, high-performance web applications that drive the company's strategic initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Taguig City Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Architect and develop scalable, maintainable, and performant web applications using NextJS or NuxtJS frameworks
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design solutions
  3. Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices and industry standards
  4. Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimise application performance, and implement security measures
  5. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions
  6. Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your expertise and best practices
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends

What we're looking for:

  1. 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on front-end development
  2. Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as NextJS or NuxtJS
  3. Solid understanding of web architecture, design patterns, and best practices
  4. Experience in integrating with RESTful APIs and working with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Mobx)
  5. Familiarity with unit testing, CI/CD, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  6. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the technical vision
