About the Project

We're looking for a skilled data engineer to lead the ingestion, modeling, and transformation of marketing and analytics data. The focus is on integrating data from ad platforms and GA4 into BigQuery using tools like , Airbyte, n8n, or custom API and designing efficient data models that support reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines from GA4 and ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) into BigQuery using , Airbyte, and/or n8n, custom API.
  • Design BigQuery datasets, tables, and schemas that are cost-effective, scalable, and support business needs.
  • Implement data transformations, cleansing, and business logic (e.g., using SQL, python, dbt).
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and proper reconciliation across systems.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance (e.g., query efficiency, storage costs, partitioning).
  • Document pipelines, table structures, and business rules.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience building data pipelines to BigQuery from ad platforms and GA4 (e.g., using native connectors, API calls, third-party tools).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience designing data warehouse schemas (e.g., star schema, snowflake, normalized models).
  • Deep understanding of BigQuery best practices (partitioning, clustering, storage management, cost optimization).
  • Familiarity with dbt or equivalent data transformation frameworks.
  • Understanding of digital marketing data structures (e.g., campaigns, impressions, clicks, conversions).
  • Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail and documentation.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of privacy/compliance considerations for marketing data (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Experience automating BigQuery cost optimizations.
