Legal Supervisor

Position Summary

The Legal Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the company's legal and regulatory compliance, managing contract review and documentation, and ensuring timely processing of permits, registrations, and intellectual property applications. The role involves supervising a legal support team, providing legal guidance to management, and coordinating with government agencies to safeguard the company's business interests.

Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance & Business Permits

• Oversee the preparation, submission, and renewal of business permits, licenses, and registrations with local government units and national agencies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements affecting the company's operations.
• Maintain an updated database of all permits and monitor renewal deadlines.

Contract Review & Management

• Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect company interests.
• Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws and company policies.
• Maintain a contract management system for tracking and monitoring obligations, expirations, and renewals.

Corporate Registration & Governance

• Handle corporate registration and compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), including incorporation, amendments, reporting, and filing of annual requirements.
• Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions and secretary's certificates.

Intellectual Property (IP) Management

• Manage the end-to-end process of patent filings and trademark registrations with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
• Monitor deadlines, renewals, and compliance related to intellectual property protection.
• Maintain organized records of all IP-related documentation.

Supervision & Leadership

• Supervise and mentor a team of legal assistants or paralegals, ensuring tasks are properly assigned, monitored, and completed on time.
• Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide legal support on operational and compliance concerns.

Advisory & Risk Management

• Provide legal advice to management on regulatory, compliance, and contractual matters.
• Identify potential legal risks and recommend mitigating measures.
• Coordinate with external counsels when necessary for specialized legal services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.); must be a licensed lawyer in good standing with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in corporate legal practice, compliance, or similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, contract, and intellectual property law.
• Experience in handling SEC, LGU permits, and IPO registrations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
