Key skills and responsibilities

  • Technical skills: Proficient in multiple areas like electrical systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing, and HVAC. Some advanced roles require knowledge of PLC programming, robotics, and industrial electronics.
  • Maintenance: Performing routine and preventive maintenance on various equipment, including checking and cleaning electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnosing and fixing issues in different types of equipment and systems.
  • Installation: Fabricating, installing, and replacing components and systems.
  • Documentation: Reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manuals, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
