Job Summary:

The Bakery Oven Operator is responsible for operating industrial ovens used in baking bread, pastries, and other baked goods. This role ensures that all products are baked according to recipe specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. The Oven Operator works closely with the mixing, shaping, and packaging teams to maintain an efficient and high-quality production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor commercial or industrial baking ovens.
  • Set oven temperatures, timers, and other controls based on product specifications.
  • Load and unload baked goods using trays, racks, or conveyors.
  • Inspect products during and after baking to ensure quality, consistency, and proper doneness.
  • Coordinate baking schedules with production demand and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the oven area and equipment.
  • Record baking data such as temperature, time, and product yields for quality control.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to the maintenance or supervisor.
  • Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Assist other production staff as needed, including dough preparation or packaging tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a commercial or industrial bakery is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of baking processes, temperatures, and timing for various products.
  • Ability to lift heavy trays and work in a hot environment.
  • Basic math and reading skills for following recipes and production schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php20,323.75 per month
