What You'll Be Doing

This role reports directly to an Australia-based manager. You'll be part of a team that works on end-to-end SEO, from research to reporting. This role is perfect for a junior specialist ready to execute core SEO tasks with structured guidance and clear reporting rhythms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Running keyword and topic research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and Google Trends.
  • Optimizing on-page elements such as titles, meta descriptions, and headers.
  • Performing light technical audits to check for crawlability and indexation issues.
  • Creating content briefs and optimizing existing pages for E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) and relevance.
  • Building simple dashboards and reports in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Looker Studio.
  • Supporting foundational link-earning activities under senior guidance.
  • Keeping meticulous task hygiene in project management tools like Asana/Jira and Slack.

What You'll Bring

  • At least 1 year of SEO experience from an internship, freelance work, or personal projects.
  • Working knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console and be comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Basic HTML/CSS literacy and familiarity with a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress or Shopify.
  • Strong English communication skills, attention to detail, and an analytical, test-and-learn mindset.
  • Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.

Bonus Points For

  • Ahrefs/SEMrush or other SEO tools.
  • Structured data, Core Web Vitals, and page speed basics.
  • Content writing or editing.
