Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Must have minimum 3 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer for Android Development.
  • Must have minimum 3 years of experience with Kotlin and Java.
  • Must have minimum 3 years of experience with Android SDK.
  • Must have minimum 3 years of experience with Git/GitHub, Gradle, and Android Studio.
  • Must have experience with MVVM/MVP or Clean Architecture.
  • Must have experience integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON, and local storage (Room/SQLite).
  • Must have experience in Android UI/UX and Material Design principles.
  • Must have experience in writing and maintaining unit and UI tests (e.g., JUnit, Espresso)
  • Must have experience in Agile Methodology and Waterfall Methodology.
  • Must have proven experience building and publishing production Android apps.
  • Must be knowledgeable with mobile security best practices (secure storage, encryption, permissions).
  • Must have strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Job Description

  • Design, build, and maintain customer-facing Android mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Backend teams to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Convert design mockups into responsive, high-performance Android UIs following Material Design guidelines.
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and handle network communication, offline caching, and error handling.
  • Ensure application security, encryption, and compliance with banking/financial regulations.
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain clean architecture (MVVM/MVP), and enforce coding best practices.
  • Write unit, integration, and UI tests to maintain high code quality and reliability.
  • Monitor and optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, estimation, retrospectives) and provide technical input.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
