Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher with a background in creative writing to support classes during scheduled times. This role involves preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging content, and providing teaching aids that enhance student learning. If you have experience in fiction writing and a passion for education, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute in an academic setting while working from home.


Job Highlights

  • Hourly Rate: 400
  • Number of Paid Hours Per Week: Based on class needs and availability
  • Schedule: Availability from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Substitute teach classes as needed
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
  • Develop and provide teaching aids to enhance learning
  • Research topic-specific information to support the curriculum
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a higher education program
  • Specific experience in fiction writing or related creative writing fields
