Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all civil-related site activities, including site grading, compaction, construction of internal roads, excavation and construction of drainage channels, and fence installation.

2. Closely monitor the construction of foundations for PV mounting structures, inverters, and pad-mounted transformers, including survey/layout, excavation, rebar works, formwork installation, and concrete pouring.

3. Ensure all subcontractor construction methods and procedures comply with approved method statements.

4. Conduct inspections and sampling of incoming civil materials (e.g., rebar, cement, aggregates).

5. Oversee the preparation, curing, and testing of concrete samples and review test reports.

6. Perform daily quality inspections and witness key construction processes to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

7. Enforce on-site safety measures for civil works, particularly for excavation, work at height, and heavy equipment operation.

8. Ensure all work complies with the National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP).

9. Coordinate the daily work of the civil subcontractor to ensure a smooth workflow between different activities.

10. Confirm the supply and delivery of civil materials to avoid delays due to shortages.

11. Provide daily reports to the project engineer and project manager on the progress, quality status, and challenges encountered in civil works.

Requirements:

1. Technical diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering site supervision. Proven site management experience in infrastructure, industrial plant, or road/bridge projects. Experience in the civil construction of ground-mounted solar projects is a major advantage.

3. Proficient in reading and understanding civil construction drawings.

4. Familiar with key civil construction procedures, techniques, and quality control points.

5. Knowledge of using basic survey instruments (e.g., level, total station).
