Job Summary:

Responsible in assuring that the plant is at par in performing and implementing process and quality compliance with minimal cost in accordance to the customer requirement and management direction. Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably Engineering
  • Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of working experience in Manufacturing Industry
  • Shows exemplary leadership, written, and verbal skills is being required
  • Preferably a Licensed Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervises quality assurance activities plant wide with regards to:

a. Incoming Material inspection

b. In-process inspection

c. Finished goods inspection

d. Outgoing inspection

  1. Review quality control reports and recommends necessary improvements or corrective actions to the Plant Manager.

  2. Supervises and monitors QA Leadman / Leadlady, QA Inspectors, and QA Final Inspectors performance

  3. Performance assigned task from time.

  4. Validates and confirms standards for quality evaluation.

  5. Appraise immediate subordinates semi-annually base on the Key Performance Indicator and completeness of special assigned tasks.

  6. Conducts and initiates daily meeting to discuss activity highlights, recurring problems, root cause analysis and preventive measurements.

  7. Analyze and submits summary of monitoring reports of Quality Assurance Department to Plant Manager in a weekly basis.

  8. Supervise and monitor daily duties and responsibilities of immediate subordinates

  9. Review and analyze Inspection Reports, Sampling Evaluation Report, Non - conformance Report and Customer Complain and established Corrective and Preventive Action Plan and Risk Management.

  10. Assigns Immediate subordinates specific designated areas of inspection as a basis of Weekly Schedule Activities.

  11. Check and approves Department generated reports.

  12. Monitor Good Housekeeping through Audit System.

  13. Conducts Suppliers Audit through plant visit in a yearly basis.

  14. Conducts training and seminars to immediate subordinates to review, validates and confirms standard for quality evaluation, standard operating procedure and alignment of inspection.

  15. Review and validate the process flow of department to strengthen the quality objectives.

  16. Participates company activities and supports Vision and Mission of the company
