Supply Chain Planner

Job Description

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for ensuring that materials, inventory, and production schedules are aligned to meet customer demand while optimizing cost, efficiency, and service levels. The role coordinates closely with Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Sales to maintain a smooth flow of goods across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on sales trends, historical data, and market insights.
  • Prepare and adjust production and material plans to support forecasted demand.
  • Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Align production schedules with capacity, manpower, and material availability.
  • Track and analyze supply chain performance metrics (OTIF, lead time, inventory turnover).
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Work with logistics to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Communicate planning updates to internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to forecasting, planning, and supply chain processes.

QualificationsEducation

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

  • At least 2–3 years experience in supply chain planning, production planning, demand planning, or inventory management.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP, formulas); ERP or MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or similar).
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning concepts (forecasting, MRP, safety stock, lead times).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
