Job Description:

The General Services Staff / Company Driver is responsible for providing support in daily operational tasks, maintenance of office premises, logistical support, and safe transportation of personnel, materials, and documents. The role involves both administrative assistance and driving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities: As General Services Staff:

  • Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of office premises and facilities.
  • Perform basic handyman tasks (e.g., replacing lights, minor repairs).
  • Assist in office errands such as purchasing office supplies, delivering documents, and supporting company events.
  • Support logistics for meetings, conferences, and company functions.

As Company Driver:

  • Drive company personnel to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
  • Deliver and pick up documents, parcels, and other company items.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles.
  • Monitor vehicle registration, insurance, and scheduled servicing.
  • Keep a logbook of vehicle use and report any issues or incidents promptly.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company transport protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent (college level preferred).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience as a company driver or in general services.
  • Driver's License: Valid professional driver's license (e.g., Restriction Code 1, 2, or appropriate equivalent).
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Good knowledge of local roads and traffic rules.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and minor repairs.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and punctuality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
