Job Summary:

The Licensed Pharmacist plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, effective, and ethical management of all medications, compounding preparations, and regenerative treatment-related pharmaceuticals used in the clinic. This position supports doctors and medical staff by providing expert pharmaceutical care, overseeing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications:


• Licensed Pharmacist with a valid PRC license


• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field; postgraduate studies in Clinical or Industrial Pharmacy is an advantage.


• At least 1–3 years of work experience in a clinical, hospital, or regenerative medicine setting is preferred.


• Knowledge of compounding techniques and regenerative products is an advantage.


• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical laws, DOH/FDA regulations, and Good Pharmacy Practice.


• Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.


• Ethical, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Dispensing & Pharmaceutical Care


• Accurately dispense prescribed medications and regenerative products in accordance with legal and professional standards.


• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, possible interactions, and contraindications.


• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage requirements.


• Provide clinical input to medical staff on treatment plans, especially for compounded or regenerative therapies.

  1. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation


• Ensure compliance with the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Health (DOH), and Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) standards.


• Maintain proper records of prescriptions, dispensing logs, and inventory as required by law.


• Support audits, inspections, and renewal of pharmacy-related permits and licenses.


• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols for handling, storage, and disposal of medicines and regenerative products.

  1. Inventory Management


• Manage procurement, receiving, storage, and monitoring of stocks for medicines, medical supplies, and regenerative products.


• Monitor expiration dates, batch numbers, and maintain proper temperature control and security.


• Conduct regular stock audits and prepare purchase requests or replenishment reports.


• Coordinate with suppliers and ensure the quality and authenticity of products.

  1. Clinical Collaboration & Support


• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and therapists in designing and implementing regenerative treatment protocols.


• Provide input on dosage, compounding techniques, and drug compatibility.


• Support the training of staff regarding proper medication administration and storage.

  1. Patient Safety & Education


• Act as a resource person for patient education on medication adherence, side effects, and lifestyle considerations related to treatment.


• Report and document adverse drug reactions or medication errors according to clinic policy.
