Role Purpose

Lead and manage the end-to-end Quality function across incoming materials, in-process controls, and outgoing products, ensuring adherence to corporate quality systems and driving continuous improvement to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Leadership & People Management
  • Lead and develop the Quality Control department consisting of 4 teams, 1 Supervisor, 5 Engineers, and 25 Inspectors.
  • Allocate workload, monitor performance, guide employees, resolve issues, retain and develop talent.
  • Drive reductions in DPPM, customer complaints, customer returns, and quality cost.
Quality Systems & Policy Compliance
  • Ensure departmental policies and procedures align with corporate standards.
  • Initiate updates and monitor execution to ensure process discipline.
Budget & Annual Quality Planning
  • Prepare annual departmental budgets and monitor monthly spending.
  • Develop annual quality plans and KPIs and ensure delivery through strong implementation and control.
Quality Control (Incoming / In-Process / Outgoing)
  • Lead supplier quality and incoming material inspections.
  • Monitor compliance to work instructions, detect risk, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Oversee outgoing inspection reliability and training effectiveness.
Customer Complaints Management
  • Lead complaint root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Conduct monthly quality review meetings and customer visits.
  • Negotiate resolution of quality issues and manage RMA closure to improve customer satisfaction.
Quality Problem-Solving & Supplier Improvement
  • Guide engineers to resolve on-site issues and avoid recurrence.
  • Lead supplier defect reduction and supplier improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze manufacturing and supply chain quality data to drive problem solving.
Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor monthly cross-audits, corrective actions, and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Drive ongoing improvement across all quality operations.
Quality Reporting
  • Prepare Quality performance reports for senior management.
  • Analyze and share quality data with Corporate and Business Unit Quality teams.

Technical / Functional:

  • Strong Quality management expertise (end-to-end)
  • Supplier quality & customer complaint handling
  • Process improvement / Six Sigma preferred
  • Bilingual (English + second language)
