About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team at the INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE' in Tarlac, Central Luzon. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring that all construction activities are completed in compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and budgetary constraints.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations and progress of construction sites, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Interpreting and implementing engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications to guide construction activities
  • Monitoring and inspecting construction work to ensure quality control and compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to find solutions
  • Maintaining accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any changes or variations to the original plan
  • Providing technical support and guidance to on-site teams, including supervising and training junior engineers and technical staff

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Primavera
