JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our web-based application. You will be responsible for ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integration with third-party services. Your key responsibilities include:Leading the design and implementation of backend architecture to meet scalability and performance requirements.

Developing, deploying, and maintaining server-side APIs and services. Managing and optimizing the PostgreSQL database, including schema design and query optimization. Integrating and managing third-party services, such as Microsoft Recognition Services and AWS for file storage.

Collaborating closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between client and server-side functionalities. Applying best practices for secure coding, data protection, and compliance. Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers to uphold coding standards and foster professional growth.

Troubleshooting and debugging production issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Staying up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and recommending improvements to enhance the platform. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of professional experience in backend development.

Proficiency in backend programming languages, particularly Ruby on Rails. Expertise in database management, particularly with PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimization. Experience with cloud platforms such as Heroku, AWS, or similar hosting environments.

Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Familiarity with integrating AI/ML tools. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Solid understanding of data security principles and compliance standards.
