About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Supervisor to join our team at Chooks to Go Inc.'. This is a full-time position based in Calamba City, Laguna. As the Business Controller Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and controlling the financial performance of our organisation.

Sales and Collection Validation

What you'll be doing:

  • Validate sales and collection figures to ensure accuracy in financial reports.
  • Compile and present the Weekly Progress Report (WPR) to track performance and progress.
  • Assist with operational concerns by providing financial insights and support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Consolidate monthly P&L reports, highlighting key insights and performance metrics.
  • Prepare monthly comparative P&L reports to identify trends and variances.
  • Conduct P&L line reviews during month-end closing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze P&L data per store and determine breakeven points to assess financial performance.
  • Conduct balance sheet risk assessments to identify potential financial risks.
  • Generate accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) aging analysis reports for monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts, both manually and through system inputs.
  • Facilitate and consolidate budget and LE preparations, ensuring alignment between manual and system-generated data.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of financial policies to enhance operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial controller or senior accounting role
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team of financial professionals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and accounting systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present financial information to stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
